Remember those juicy, orange popsicles with the vanilla ice cream on the inside we used to enjoy as kids. Mmmmmmm!
Here’s my healthy version:
ORANGE CREAMSICLE PROTEIN SMOOTHIE
-1 scoop vanilla protein powder
-1/2 cup regular, oat or almond milk (unsweetened)
-1/2 cup orange juice (fresh squeezed is best!) OR throw in a peeled orange
-1/4 cup Greek yogurt
-1 tsp vanilla extract
-crushed ice
(230 calories, 19g carbs, 30g protein, 4g fat)
*Add 1/2 banana for a more filling snack!
