NOVEMBER STAR!

November 5, 2021

Look who’s turning heads this month….

MARTHA!

1. Age: I am 61 years old

2. Profession: I am a Licensed CSR for Insurance and currently working in the Accounting Field.

3. When did you first start training at WOFB and how did you find out about us?

I started training at WOFB February 2020 for three weeks, then as we all know COVID 19 changed our lives. I stopped going in March and went back October 2020.  I heard about WOFB a few years ago from my manicurist but it was in 2019 that my daughter, Maria Sinclair, joined WOFB and I was amazed by her transformation.

4. Tell us about your sports & fitness background:

I have been active in different sports, I used to swim, play volleyball, and run when I was in High School. Several years ago I would 3 miles a day, shortly after I joined a gym and went regularly and it was last year when I decided to join WOFB, best decision ever!!!! I am extremely happy, coach Lorraine is really inspiring, her energy is contagious and I enjoy it.

5. Favorite Exercise (or type of workout): I like all of the workouts, but my least favorite are the ones that involve a rope!

6. Least Favorite Exercise: The ones that involve a rope!

7. What sort of changes have you seen in your body, health and overall fitness since starting WOFB?

Since joining WOFB, I am so happy not only with my physical changes, but I love that I have changed my eating habits and my daily life. I am convinced once you start seeing the results that come from your hard work, you are motivated to make it a lifestyle, not just something temporary. I have improved in running, but still need to work on my time. With regards to my health, I have arthritis, knee and elbow pain, that hasn’t stopped me from working out, on the contrary, working out helps me a lot.  Super happy I joined the Challenge; it feels so good when you can wear that pair of jeans that has been sitting in your closet for many years.

I love working out at 5:45 am, I feel so good the rest of the day and full of energy!

I would recommend anyone to take the first step and Join WOFB, you will not regret it!

We are so proud of you Martha!!! Not everyday does a coach have the privilege of simultaneously helping 3 generations achieve their fitness goals! (Martha trains at WOFB with her daughter and granddaughter). Thank you for being such an inspiration to us all, proving that age ain’t nothing but a number! Keep up the exemplary work!!! It doesn’t go unnoticed!
