In case you’re not aware…. if you’re in the ELITE program, YOU ARE A SOLE SISTER!

This group was started back in 2011 to nurture our love of running and the outdoors. JOIN US every Saturday morning, as we meet in different parts of the city to walk/run/jog. Everyone moves at their own pace. The goal is to be better than you were yesterday.

This Saturday, we meet across from Greenstreet Cafe in scenic Coconut Grove at 7am. Parking along the streets is free until 10am. See you there!

2. Profession: Accountant

3. When did you first start training at WOFB and how did you find out about us?
I started four scores and 7 years ago…lol. It was September of 2007 I believe so 14 years ago.

4. Tell us about your sports & fitness background:
Other than ride bike to my friends house I was never into exercising not even in high school. I never participated in sports nor did I have interest in it. I started exercising in my college years. I mostly jogged with some weights here and there. I unfortunately was one of those people that thought cardio was the best way to stay in shape and “thin”. Boy was I wrong. Unfortunately I’m guilty of the saying, “If I knew then what I know now”, lol.

5. Favorite Exercise (or type of workout):
lunges and believe it or not 🙈burpees, I think they are awesome for getting the whole body warmed up.

6. Least Favorite Exercise:
mountain climbers…ugh. (I live in Miami because there are no mountains…lol.)

7. What sort of changes have you seen in your body, health and overall fitness since starting WOFB?
Wow, extreme changes. I never imagined when I started Bootcamp that I would see the results I have achieved. Definitely with the consistency and life changes I’ve made, which I used to think sounded dreadful but actually weren’t, my physique has become what I always saw in fitness magazines and seemed unattainable. Slow and steady definitely wins the race! But not only have the physical changes been surprising, the athleticism I’ve been able to achieve still surprise me. I ran a faster mile in my forties then in my teens! Thank you bootcamp for the athletic monster you have woken up. I will continue to push my limits until my body can’t anymore!

Ms. Jackie is a real OG – Original Gangster!! She is a wife, mother of 3 and full time accountant, yet she still makes time to train, and she trains hard! She is one of our first members from 2007. We have witnessed her growth, mentally and physically, and couldn’t be prouder of the results. You are an inspiration to all women! Keep shining!


The owner and his sister are students here and they have generously donated $50 gift cards to our members who earn STUDENT OF THE MONTH. Their menu and quality of food speak volumes – they started out as a food truck and have grown to one of the hottest spots in Miami!
