HUNGER & HOMELESSNESS AWARENESS MONTH!
It’s that time of year again…. where we give thanks for what we have and we reflect on how lucky we are to have access to clean drinking water and food. Unfortunately, not everyone can be as grateful, especially under these uncertain economic times, but there is hope!

This year WOMEN ONLY FITNESS BOOTCAMP is once again partnering with MIAMI RESCUE MISSION to provide meals for the hungry and homeless of our community. Their goal is to raise enough food to help feed around 220,000 meals to the thousands living in shelters and on the streets. Together, we are promoting this year’s campaign, PACK THE PANTRY food drive!
We have set up a table in the lobby at the gym for your donations. Some suggested items are listed below:
- Canned vegetables
- Boxed cereal, oatmeal
- Canned meat
- Instant potatoes
- Coffee
- Rice
- Dry milk
- Sugar
- Condiments (ketchup, mustard, etc)
- Stuffing mix
- Sugar
- Water
- Non-perishable items
Please drop off whatever you can. As always, your generosity and cooperation are hugely appreciated!
*If pulling from your pantry, please be sure that canned foods are not damaged and their shelf life has not expired.
