Per serving: 253 calories, 8.5g Fat, 2g Carbs, 40.2g Protein
Ingredients:
- 1 Package Extra Lean ground turkey (1 – 1.5 lbs)
- 1/4 cup almond meal
- 3 Tablespoons liquid egg whites
- 1 – 3.5oz container of Atheno’s low fat Feta cheese crumbles
- 3 cloves of chopped garlic
- 1 Tablespoon Cayenne pepper
- 1 Tablespoon Italian seasoning
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Start by mixing the meat, egg whites, almond meal, garlic and seasonings in a large bowl. Mix well.
- Portion out the mixture into 4 equal sized loaves. (Use a scale for the portion size of the meat and feta if you want to be exact).
- Take 1/4 of the feta cheese and stuff each meatloaf, making sure that no cheese is coming out and the meatloaf is completely sealed. Stuff each meatloaf and place on a sprayed cookie sheet. (I also line mine with foil to make clean up easy!)
- Once all of the meatloaves are stuffed, bake for 45 minutes or until they are lightly browned.
- These are moist enough they don’t need a sauce but it wouldn’t hurt to have one on the side! Enjoy!
