At the young age of 4 & 1/2, Bella was paralyzed from a tumor on her spine. She was later diagnosed with Stage 4, Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma, an aggressive form of cancer. After countless chemotherapy and radiation treatments spanning 6 years, Bella joined the angels in heaven yesterday.
In Bella’s short life, she managed to leave a tremendous impact on people across the world with her heart-warming smiles and the ability to remind us what life is all about. The mantra, “LIVE LIKE BELLA”, which is sweeping the internet, serves to remind us that we are so grateful to be breathing and must never take anything for granted – enjoy every minute! I like to constantly remind myself not to “sweat the small stuff”!
In honor of Bella, please wear red to class tomorrow, her favorite color. (It doesn’t have to be your red bootcamp shirt either.) If you aren’t familiar with her, you can follow her Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/pages/Pray-for-Bella/190220957695890?fref=ts
